Join us for an exciting session on preventing and responding to workplace violence, where we will discuss several measures that companies can take to develop a policy and reduce the potential for violent incidents, as well as how to respond if the worst occurs.

    • Understand Minnesota’s laws related to carrying firearms.
    • Recognize conditions in a facility that can be corrected to reduce the risk of someone coming on the premises to commit acts of violence.
    • Identify procedures that can be put in place to save lives in the event of workplace violence and understand the limitations of training and procedures in high-risk situations.

Brad Kramer owns Provenio Consulting, a safety and environmental consulting firm in Minnesota. His background includes being an EHS professional for several major manufacturing and ag companies, being a firefighter, and a manager. Brad lives in Albert Lea with his wife, who owns a massage and wellness studio, and their two youngest children, with three adult children on their own, and enjoys spoiling their three grandchildren.

Provenio has consultants with areas of subject matter expertise, such as career law enforcement officers and firefighters to consult in those areas, so clients get the best experts who practice and train in those skills daily, such as law enforcement officers training management for drug & alcohol impairment recognition.

While Provenio covers almost any safety subject relevant to any industry, their focus is OSHA compliance, DOT compliance, continuous improvement that leverages safety best-practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs, training employees and management in topics like hazardous materials, confined space, technical rescue, first aid/CPR, and much more. They also provide OSHA 10 and 30-Hour classes for general industry.

This program is approved for PDS and HRCI Credits.
